Yusuke Amano started a venture capital fund, STRIVE, in 2014 and established three pan-Asian fund with total AUM of approx. $400M. Before STRIVE, Yusuke served as SVP of Business Planning, Business Development, International Operations and CVC (GREE Ventures) at GREE. Prior to joining GREE, Yusuke was an investment banker at Deutsche Securities, Inc. and Lehman Brothers, where he engaged in M&A advisory and fundraising activities., and also worked on private equity at Unitas Capital.

Tatsuo Tsutsumi founded GREE Ventures and became General Partner of a new venture capital fund. Before GREE Ventures, Tatsuo directed new business development and establishment of corporate venture capital arms at CyberAgent, Recruit, and GREE. Earlier in his career, Tatsuo also worked at Sanwa Research Institute and Global Brain.

Yosuke Takata

After passing the Japanese bar exam while in university, Yosuke Takata started his career at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto which is one of the “Big Four” law firms in Japan. He dealt with a wide range of practice areas, focusing on M&A and corporate governance. During his career at the law firm, he was seconded to the Financial Services Agency in Japan. Also, he has obtained LL.M. at New York University School of Law and passed the New York bar exam. Further, he worked as a visiting foreign attorney at Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta. After he came back to Japan, Yosuke Takata joined STRIVE in 2019.

Maiko Iwai joined STRIVE in 2019. She is primarily in charge of recruitment and HR support for portfolio companies. Earlier in her career, she was a career counselor specializing in IT sector at Intelligence, hired more than 2,000 employees in both Japan and overseas at GREE, and experienced overall recruitment and HR work at Lancers. Hiromi Ozawa joined STRIVE in 2019. She is primarily in charge of recruitment and HR support for portfolio companies. Prior to joining STRIVE, she founded WITY, an organization that supports female engineers along with freelance work she had with multiple companies. Earlier in her career, she was a career counselor for engineers, responsible for mid-career recruitment. She also experienced temporary assignments at Lancers and worked as community manager of engineer workshop site.

Nikhil Kapur is the General Parner at Grayscale and supports the STRIVE's portfolio across Southeast Asia and India. After building a profitable B2B media-tech venture named TommyJams in India, he completed his MBA in Finance from NUS Business School. A Computer Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, he previously developed the first version of Excel for mobile while at Microsoft. He was listed as Forbes 30-Under-30 in Asia in 2018 and maintains a popular VC blog, grayscale.vc.

Based in Bangalore, Siddharth joined STRIVE in 2020. He focuses on the tech ecosystem in India. Graduate from India's premier engineering university, IIT Kharagpur, Siddharth started his professional journey as a Software Developer with Samsung, South Korea. Before building his own profitable SaaS startup, SimplyDonor, he joined an early stage startup and built various teams ground up.
